Hope in the Community Kent receives a desktop and monitor from Prism Solutions.

With 50 volunteers Medway Foodbank is a project of Hope in the Community. Medway Foodbank provides Emergency Food for Local People in Crisis. It provides a minimum of three days non-perishable emergency food to local people in crisis. All food given out is donated by the local community. We work in partnership with frontline care professionals to identify people in need. Since it started in Dec 2011, the foodbank has seen an enormous increase in demand for its provision of 3 days food for people in crises.

The PC is used 7 hours a day in the Medway Foodbank warehouse to enable email and internet access for receipt of orders and communications with our foodbank centres. This will ease and speed up getting food out to those in crisis situations.
