PETT – Supporting the local community

“The foodbank was there when we really needed it, it was an absolute lifeline.”

That is how one client described Stoke-on-Trent Foodbank, which has given out three-day food parcels to over 49,000 people since its inception in 2012.

During the period before Easter Stoke-on-Trent Foodbank launched their Adlent Food Collection Calendar and PETT were only too happy to take part.

Following the calendar, team members purchased an item a day, donating non-perishable items like t-bags, soup, pasta sauce, tinned vegetables, etc.

Being a member of PETT and a foodbank volunteer, I see on a weekly basis the impact food parcels have on members of the community that are going through a tough time. It can make all the difference to an individual or a family.

Thank you so much.
