Free WiFi major factor to economic recovery says Prism Solutions

IT business Prism Solutions says free Wi-Fi out of the office has increased workers’ morale and benefited British businesses.

“Free WiFi can only be a good thing as we all do more messaging on the move. It reduces that irritating ‘downtime’ when we are commuting and help to alleviate some of the stress commuters feel from not using their time productively,” said co-founder of Prism Solutions.

“This initiative has helped people to balance their working day. When they get to the office they will be able to concentrate on their specific tasks and not just the sorting and replying to messages whose company supplies complete IT support to over 1,000 SME’s nationwide.

“I think this can be good for the nation’s productivity and its health. At Prism, we are experiencing a huge growth in the amount of people remote working – which is inevitably the way of the future. Any scheme that allows us more flexibility in our working day has to be applauded”

Free WiFi can be accessed in thousands of Cloud “hotspot” locations in the UK. ‘The Cloud’ is considered to be the largest providers where free WiFi can be accessed in various coffee shops, restaurants and Network Rail.

There were even reports that over 100,000 Glastonbury festival-goers received free 4G WiFi connections from life-size fibreglass cows during the event.
