Breakthrough UK receives a PETT donation

Breakthrough UK was set up in 1997 by local disabled people and aims for a society where disabled people can participate on the same basis as everyone.

Their goals are to remove the barriers that disabled people face in society and to support disabled people to have the skills and confidence to live independently, whilst aiming to ensure disabled people understand their rights and that they are valued by people in society.

They also aim to support the most vulnerable people who are furthest from the job market into volunteering, training and employment.

The donation will be used to enhance the capacity for staff to work from home and in the community to improve the service that is offered.
