Age UK Oldham (Men in Sheds) receives a PETT donation

Age UK Oldham (Men in Sheds) are all about providing preventative care to men over 55.

They help men who have been widowed, lonely, suffer with mental illness, health, disability and any number of other reasons, find a social place they can go to meet others like them. This can benefit both the men and their families and place them in an environment in which they will find purpose, friendship and can share their skills and knowledge obtained over the years, over endless brews.

The donated laptop will be used by the staff members to keep records of attendees and respond to enquiries that are received, whilst the computer will be used by members to help with day to day tasks like paying bills, find information, access help and guidance etc, as many do not have a computer at home.
