What is prism Support?
prism Support system offers IT support via the telephone, on site, or via remote desktop software. We will endeavour to fix or guide you through daily IT tasks over the telephone, using specially designed software that enables us to view your computer screen and control it as if we were on site with you. Should it not be possible to remedy your problem using these methods, we will schedule a site visit at the earliest possible opportunity.

We know you and your business. We have onboard knowledge of your working environment and we know all the hardware and systems in place. We are approachable and contactable at any time to discuss your requirements.
Lower hourly rate (applies only to chargeable works) As a support contract holder, you will benefit from a reduced hourly rate of £80 + VAT for the first hour including callout and travel. Additional hours are charged at £40 thereafter on site. (The standard hourly rate is £100 + VAT for the first hour including callout and up to £60 + VAT thereafter.)
What will we support?
If you encounter problems with any IT-related hardware or software we will do our best to help. Owing to the vast array of software applications available on the market today, however, it would be impossible for us to be an expert on every single one of them.
Our areas of expertise include: Microsoft Windows 2000, XP, Vista and Windows 7, Microsoft Office packages, Internet and E-mail issues.
In the majority of cases, we will be able to resolve your problem. If not, at least we will give you a good idea of what may be causing it and how to go about resolving it. But we would ask you to understand that in certain situations we may need to contact the manufacturer or vendor of the product to obtain more detailed information, which may sometimes cause delays.
Packages
We offer two packages, giving our clients the choice of support that best suits their needs:
Package One – Telephone & Remote Support
This package offers remote assistance over the telephone and by using software that enables our technicians to control your PC from our offices.
There are no limitations on time allocated per month. In the event that site time is required, Support clients are charged a reduced rate. For many this is a great introduction to outsourcing their business IT requirements. It offers the benefit of having IT support in place but only paying for engineering time when it is absolutely required.
Package 2 – Onsite Total Care
The prism Total Care package is aimed at business users who wish to insure their IT and business operations against all eventualities. We ensure that all equipment that requires cover will be supported both remotely and onsite when required. As part of the Total Care package we offer quarterly site visits to make sure that all equipment receives a health check. We update all software and attend to any issues that may have arisen since the last visit.
What does it cost?
The cost for this service is calculated on the number of PCs or servers that we would be supporting. For a more detailed quote please contact us. (As a guide, telephone support starts at £15 pcm and the Total Care package starts at £35 pcm.)
