The hardware that is used each day is one of the most important purchases you will make, and its important to ensure that you not only choose the equipment itself carefully, but also the manufacturer and from which retailer you are going to purchase.

A Dell laptop is not just a Dell laptop, nor is a colour printer like every other. Laptops differ in weight, the materials used in the construction of the battery and the warranty process, just as printers differ in the number of copies they are designed to produce each month and the speed in which they produce them. This information is not always immediately obvious when comparing technical specifications.

Unfortunately, even new hardware does have problems, and its important to consider the warranty that the manufacturer of your new equipment is providing you with, and should you need it, how are you going to claim.
