Birkenhead District Scout Council receives a PETT donation of a laptop.

Birkenhead Scouts provide management and support to 15 Scout Groups, 2 of which support Scouting in Schools where the pupils require additional support. In Birkenhead there are 215 adult volunteers who support over 500 young people to develop skills for life.
As part of the groups refreshed programme IT has became a key skill which enables extra curricular development. They also use cloud based software to manage volunteers and complete e-learning to ensure everyday adventures run safely and smoothly.

The donation will be used by the trainers to deliver training to adult volunteers and to allow young people to develop their own IT skills.
