Office refurbishment
As part of an office refurbishment programme in central London we were required to relocate 100 users over a weekend, ensuring that there were no issues when the office re-opened on Monday morning. After the refurbishment we moved all users back into the existing premises, ensuring minimum downtime and disruption to the end users.
New office builds
Many of our clients require us to project-manage new office fit-outs. We are able to guide our clients through cabling, telecoms, hardware, electrics and networking, handling the entire project from start to finish. We have managed a wide variety of locations, from rural barn conversions to house boats, from new commercial developments to grade 1 listed properties.
Exhibitions
The need for fast, immediate Internet connectivity has led to the installation of temporary lines and connections in locations such as the Barbican in London. Here our client required Internet access for just one day to demonstrate an online application. prism delivered this through temporary BT lines and on-site presence to ensure connectivity was maintained.
Bespoke Internet connectivity
In some rural locations, Broadband is still not readily available. In today’s business world, where fast and coherent communication is critical, prism were asked to provide a solution. We installed satellite broadband, which bypassed the traditional telecoms routes and provided the desired result until the local exchange was enabled.
National Training Programme
As part of a national training programme, our client required the installation and packing up of an IT infrastructure in locations throughout the UK over an 18-month period. These events took place weekly and required the equipment to be moved on to the next location in time for the next training course.
